The only problem I see with this is that if there is more than one monitor, and the end user has the web browser (for instance) set to open on monitor #2, the tech might end up thinking there's a problem with the application instead of just that it opened on the other screen and he didn't see it. I'm actually guilty of this myself :) Would be just peachy if there was a way to indicate that an application that was run has appeared on the non-displayed monitor.

Thanks for your input Ryan, as for #7, I searched everywhere but cannot find a triangle near any of my pane titles. Mind posting a screenshot of yours?

I think that this is one of those features that shouldn't be ignored if it has only a few votes, anything you can do to make the product better and easier to use is a +1 for the product itself.

Agree with Mhighsmith - the point is to offer a temporary way to remote in, so automatically deny the ability for them to run tools, send files etc. Simple as possible.

My last 3 use cases for this situation happened to be 1 day, 4 days and ~10 days. I agree a 90 day would be an outlier. Although I would personally find it a little annoying having to re-issue a temporary pass on a daily basis first thing for 10 days straight, it would be workable. My own preference would be to reduce that a little by a few more days.
